UV Purifier
UV purifiers treat water by exposing it to a special germicidal UV lamp in a clear glass housing. The UV light destroys the genetic abilities of various microorganisms to prevent re-production and make those harmless.
Stages of Purification Process:
Stage 1: Sediment pre filter cartridge for removal of suspended contamination.
Stage 2: GAC cartridge for reduction/ removal of free chlorine, chloramines and free organics etc.
Stage 2a: Optional stage - BC cartridge for removal of organic color and odor along with assurance of 5 µ rating (nominal) filtration.
Stage 3: UV Chamber to de-activate the living micro-organism by prevention of their re-production and making them harmless, to avoid most of water borne disease.
Stage 3a: Optional stage - Post carbon Polisher for removal of dissolved vapours /gasses and to improve the odour and taste.
